It was late November 2010 Jemima received an exciting email from HarperCollins Publishers, asking if she would be interested in submitting some illustrations for a possible children’s edition of The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien. For the following three years she was constantly absorbed in the story, completing over 150 illustrations. Jemima is honoured that Christopher Tolkien had asked her to illustrate his father’s famous tale.
In September 2013 her illustrations were published in a new version of J.R.R Tolkien’s The Hobbit. This edition has been published in 9 different languages.
